Role Overview:
We're seeking a results-driven Marketing Communications Specialist to lead our external communications to drive brand awareness and sales growth. This role combines creative content creation with strategic business development to execute social media, email marketing, website marketing and build community relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Creation
Develop, execute and create comprehensive content strategies across all channels (Instagram, website, email)
Write and/or design compelling copy for marketing materials, website content, and email campaigns
Manage and optimize website content, including brand pages and product pages
Track content performance and adjust strategies based on analytics
2. Social Media Management
Execute engaging social media strategy across all platforms for multiple brand accounts
Monitor and engage with audiences across channels
Research and implement current social media trends
Create and schedule social content calendar
Track and report on social media metrics and ROI
3. Digital advertising
Utilize Google Analytics and Google AdWords to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Oversee Meta advertising campaigns, ensuring they meet budgetary constraints while maximizing reach.
Manage and optimize content for our website using Shopify, ensuring it is SEO-friendly.
4. Business Development Strategy
Conduct thorough research to identify trends and insights that inform marketing strategies.
Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities, tracking and reporting on success metrics
Contribute to sales growth initiatives through content and communications
5. Public Relations & Brand Storytelling
Develop and execute creative PR strategies that align with our brand to drive in-store and online sales growth
Create and circulate compelling press releases and media pitches for new product launches, events, and company news
Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry partners
Coordinate and manage PR events and media relations
Track and report on PR metrics and media coverage
Develop case studies and success stories that showcase brand values and results
Support community engagement initiatives that align with brand values
Required Qualities:
Knowledge of and a genuine passion for natural skincare and wellness
A self-starter who takes initiative and works independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team communication
Adaptive to changing needs of the business
Preferred Experience:
Background or interest in beauty, health & wellness, or related field is a must
2+ years experience in communications, digital marketing, and creative design
Proven track record of driving results through content, communication and analytics
Strong proficiency with social media. email marketing and graphic design best practices, trends and software (Later, Klaviyo, Canva, CapCut, etc)
Experience with website management (Shopify experience preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in tracking and reporting metrics
