Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Marketing & Communications Director Canada. This position is based out of Canada.

In this role you are a strategic member of the Global Marketing Function and Marketing Leadership Team and responsible for the management of the Canada In Country Marcoms team and create a successful alignment between the strategic priorities of the Global Marketing model as well as the regional business\xe2\x80\x99 commercial priorities, develop the Canada Marketing and Communications Strategy and provide advice to the Canadian business, providing guidance on all marketing-related activities- internal communications, campaigns, content, social, media and PR - to ensure consistency of approach and successful attainment of business plan objectives.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Deliver and maintain a marketing and communications strategy for the region that is aligned with the Global Marketing strategy and reflects regional Global Business Area (GBA) priorities.
  • Develop and implement all marketing and communications strategies for the region both external and internal.
  • Deepen the understanding of the Arcadis brand and compliance with the brand guidelines in region.
  • Embed and amplify Global Marketing campaigns in region so as to support global and regional GBA priorities.
  • Work with local stakeholders to develop engaging regional marketing campaigns, strategic insights and thought leadership content that support regional GBA commercial and pipeline priorities.
  • Manage all social media content creation and scheduling as well as coaching key stakeholders with amplifying the brands presence on social channels.
  • Increase Arcadis\' profile across paid, earned and owned media channels \xe2\x80\x93 as part of a wider marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with the Global Internal Communications Centre of Excellence to support the implementation of a regional internal communications / employee engagement strategy \xe2\x80\x93 including DEIB messaging.
  • Work closely with Global External Communications Centre of Excellence to manage all regional media enquiries and relationships, media training for regional leaders and the development of a regional crisis communications plan.
  • Work closely with the Global Digital Centre of Excellence to ensure regional digital channels are optimized.
  • Support the development and wellbeing of the regional marketing team.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager or Arcadis.
  • Ensure familiarity and compliance with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:
  • Professional services background.
  • At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B.
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong background in the development of multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns across B2B markets.
  • Proven experience in creative, digitally enabled content creation.
  • Strong background in managing a team of internal communications, content, media and campaign specialists.
  • Experienced working in a matrix organization.
  • Strong writing skills an advantage.
  • Experienced managing and/or working with cross teams an advantage.
  • Persuasive communicator with a talent for storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal ability.
  • Tertiary qualification in a related subject such as marketing or communications.

The pay range for this position is $109,477 - $144,184.
