Job Summary:
The Marketing & Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing Avestec's marketing and business development strategies to drive revenue growth, market adoption, and brand visibility. This role bridges marketing, sales, and technical teams to position Avestec's robotic inspection solutions effectively across target industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Market Development
Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies aligned with Avestec's growth objectives.
Identify, prioritize, and develop new markets and customer segments for Avestec's robotic inspection platforms and software solutions.
Define and refine value propositions for Avestec's products and services in collaboration with technical and leadership teams.
Business Development & Sales Support
Generate and qualify leads through targeted outreach, partnerships, events, and digital channels.
Support the sales pipeline by initiating customer engagements, coordinating demonstrations, and supporting proof-of-concept activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and resellers.
Marketing Execution & Brand Management
Develop and manage marketing collateral including presentations, datasheets, case studies, white papers, and digital content.
Oversee website content, newsletters, and social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn).
Support product launches, press releases, and corporate communications.
Proposal & Bid Support
Lead or support the preparation of proposals, RFQs, and tenders in coordination with engineering and operations teams.
Ensure clear commercial positioning, pricing justification, and competitive differentiation.
Manage timelines and inputs for bid submissions.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
Provide insights and recommendations on pricing, positioning, and strategic opportunities.
Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships.
Events & Industry Engagement
Plan and manage participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and technical events.
Organize customer meetings, demonstrations, and site visits.
Represent Avestec at client and partner engagements as required.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Track and report key performance indicators including lead generation, pipeline value, and conversion rates.
Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting.
Provide regular updates to senior management on marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales within industrial technology, robotics, inspection, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, technical products, and industrial customers.
Experience supporting proposals, tenders, and complex sales processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in oil & gas, energy, utilities, or infrastructure inspection markets.
Familiarity with robotics, UAVs, NDT, or industrial inspection technologies.
Experience working with international partners or clients.
