Job Description

The Marketing Associate will assist in all functions of the planning and execution of Ontario Racquet Club's marketing strategy, specifically in the areas of ad design, online marketing and brand development. The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Director of Marketing in the conceptualization and subsequent creation of organizational marketing campaigns. They will be highly creative and versatile with a positive attitude and a proven ability to work well under pressure, adhering to multiple deadlines.

This is an ideal position for someone early in their career who would like to build a robust portfolio within an established, well regarded brand. The candidate will be part of a small team and will have a large part in the planning and execution of ORC's various marketing campaigns. Please note this role requires a strong knowledge of Adobe design software.

Job Duties



Create printed or online marketing materials promoting the Ontario Racquet Club and our various programs or events.

Assist in the conceptualization and creation of organizational marketing campaigns.

Utilize social media to further the Ontario Racquet Club's brand.

Utilize technology to communicate with and educate club members or staff.

Prioritize and schedule workload to ensure timely completion.

Build upon current branding and further brand development of Ontario Racquet Club.

Other responsibilities and directives as assigned.

Requirements



Proficient with Adobe Suite design software.

Excellent communication skills with an attention to detail.

Strong computer skills.

Working knowledge of marketing principles, with a demonstrated understanding of consumer behaviors.

Experience using social media to drive marketing initiatives and brand awareness.

Experience working in a marketing environment is preferred, but not mandatory.

Web design experience is an asset.

Experience with photography or video production is an asset.

Proven team player who is both flexible and highly adaptable.

Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work well under pressure in order to meet organizational goals.

Working Conditions



Weekend or holiday hours may occasionally be required for special events.

This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule.

Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

Lifting of items under 10 lbs will be required.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
