Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and independent
Marketing Assistant
to help grow our business presence in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have the initiative to identify and reach out to potential clients, introduce our company, and help secure our position on their bid lists. In addition, this person will manage our digital presence, including the company website and social media accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Independently research and create a list of potential clients (developers, landlords, franchise groups, architects, and consultants).
Reach out via calls, emails, and meetings to introduce our company and establish relationships.
Work to get Iris Construction added to bid lists and pre-qualified vendor lists.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing and potential clients.
Manage and regularly update company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
Oversee website updates, portfolio uploads, and company news posts.
Develop marketing materials, presentations, and newsletters.
Report progress weekly to management, outlining outreach efforts and new opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of marketing, business development, or sales experience (construction or related field preferred).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media management.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for meetings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
