Job Title: Marketing Assistant (Part Time)



Stillwater Custom Homes and Renovations is a full-service residential construction company serving the Greater Victoria area. We design and build high-quality custom homes and renovations with a strong emphasis on high-performance design, early planning, and a well-managed client experience.

About the Role

As the

Marketing Assistant

, you'll support Stillwater's brand presence, lead generation, and long-term growth by executing marketing initiatives across social media, email, website, and content channels. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, ideal for someone who enjoys bringing strategy to life through well-organized, high-quality work.

You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and collaborate with project managers and external partners (photographers, videographers, SEO consultants) to ensure Stillwater's marketing reflects the quality of our work in the field.

Your work will directly impact how the company is perceived, how leads are generated, and how effectively we communicate our value to future clients.

Mon-Fri,

20 hour work week

(ocean view office-based role in North Saanich)

Key responsibilities:



Social Media & Content

Build and maintain a monthly social media content calendar Publish consistent posts across Instagram and Facebook Coordinate with site teams and local videographers to capture project imagery and video Organize, label, and manage photo and video assets Write clear, on-brand captions that tell project and brand stories Support paid advertising campaigns by preparing creative assets
Email Marketing

Build and schedule email campaigns in HubSpot Write email copy for review and approval Manage email lists, segmentation, and basic reporting Coordinate email campaigns with blog content and lead magnets
Website & SEO Support

Make routine website updates and content edits Support new landing pages and educational resources Assist with basic SEO improvements and content formatting Work with external consultants on SEO and AI-search enhancements
Content Development

Research blog topics aligned with homeowner questions and search intent Draft blog posts for approval Re-purpose content across email and social channels Maintain a content backlog to support consistent publishing
Organization & Systems

Keep marketing systems, files, and assets organized and easy to access Track timelines and deliverables for ongoing and quarterly initiatives Ensure all work aligns with approved calendars and brand standards

What We're Looking For



Strong written communication and storytelling skills Growth-minded and curious, with an interest in keeping pace with evolving algorithms, AI tools, and digital marketing best practices Proficient with Instagram and Facebook Familiarity with HubSpot (or similar CRM platforms) Strong understanding of SEO and content best practices Detailed experience running Meta and Google ads Comfort working in a website CMS Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Able to work independently and manage multiple initiatives Confident coordinating with external partners Proactive team player with a systems-oriented mindset
