We are seeking a confident and proactive Marketing Assistant to support our team of marketing consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high level of marketing assistance and administrative support to our team and for our client work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role offers an opportunity for growth and development for someone interested in becoming a marketer.

Salary Range: CAD$20 to $23/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the team in managing schedules, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, as needed.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed.
• Conduct research and analysis on various topics as assigned by the team.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and requests and redirecting to appropriate team members when necessary.
• Coordinate events and meetings, including logistics and agendas.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to help develop and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives.
• Participate in marketing meetings and assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives.
• Manage social media accounts and assist in content creation and curation.
• Maintain and update contact information in Pipedrive.
• Conduct other tasks as assigned by the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred or 1 year of experience in an assistant role, ideally within a marketing or advertising agency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation is a plus.
• Confidence in learning new systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and project management tools.
• Interest in marketing and desire to learn and grow in this field.
