Job Summary:
Dust Safety Science is a global leader in online industrial safety training and education, focused on preventing dust explosions and improving workplace safety. We are seeking a self-motivated and coachable LinkedIn Marketing Assistant to support our CEO in growing our brand, generating inbound leads, and building conversations that lead to meaningful client relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about content creation, online marketing, and social media engagement--especially on LinkedIn. You'll work directly with the CEO and team members to develop, implement, and optimize LinkedIn campaigns and lead engagement strategies. This is a high-growth opportunity with the potential to expand into advanced marketing and sales responsibilities over time.
Core Responsibilities:
Content Planning & Creation:
? Collaborate with the CEO to plan, write, and schedule high-quality LinkedIn posts that drive engagement and brand visibility
? Draft content aligned with brand voice and audience needs
? Suggest supporting media (images, videos, or documents) as needed
Engagement Monitoring & Outreach:
? Track post performance, identify high-engagement interactions
? Start opening conversations with engaged connections using pre-defined scripts and outreach frameworks
? Qualify leads based on engagement and conversation responses
? Maintain accurate lead records in tracking tools or CRM
Performance Review & Optimization:
? Participate in weekly planning meetings to review performance data and adjust strategies
? Assist in preparing analytics reports on content reach, engagement, and leads generated
Non-Core Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Support:
? Contribute ideas for social campaigns, landing pages, and other digital assets
? Support marketing research as needed to improve targeting and messaging
Sales Enablement (Optional Growth Area):
? Learn how to carry chat conversations further into the sales process over time
? Support the team in booking discovery calls with qualified leads
Growth Opportunities:
? Progress into content marketing strategy and paid campaign management
? Gain mentorship in copywriting, B2B lead generation, and sales activities
Day-to-Day Activities:
? Meet with the CEO (in-person 2-3 times per week in the CEO's office and virtually otherwise) to review content and weekly goals. Transportation is not provided and bus routes are not reliable to the CEO's office.
? Draft and schedule posts using internal planning tools
? Monitor post performance and message qualified prospects
? Track responses and lead movement through CRM or spreadsheets
? Review analytics and adjust strategy weekly
? Participate in team calls and growth discussions

Qualifications:
Hard Skills:
? Basic experience (1-3 years) in marketing, social media, sales support, or customer success
? Strong written communication skills, especially chat/email writing
? Familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional platform
? Experience in digital marketing, blogging or social media posting is an asset
? Experience in graphic design to support social media posting is an asset
? Simple video editing for social media videos is an asset

? Clear communicator with a friendly, professional tone
? Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks

Compensation:
Pay Rate:
$22-$27/hour CAD (Trial Period), with review for salary conversion after 90 days
Target Hours:
40 hours per week
