We're looking for a

Marketing Assistant

who's excited to learn, experiment, and grow in all areas of digital marketing -- from social media and design to SEO, ads, and websites.

This is a

flexible remote contract

perfect for a

student or early-career creative

looking to gain hands-on experience in a real agency environment.

Responsibilities

Create, design, and schedule social media content (posts, stories, reels, etc.) Write engaging captions and manage community engagement Track performance analytics and prepare reports Assist with Google Ads and Meta Ads setup and monitoring Support SEO tasks (keywords, content updates, Google tools) Help with WordPress website updates and design support (Optional) Capture and edit photos or videos for clients in the Edmonton area

Qualifications

Based in

Edmonton or surrounding area

(required) Strong written communication and creative design skills Experience with any of the following is an asset:
Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Meta Business Suite

Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn new tools Own computer and smartphone Reliable transportation for occasional client visits (approx. once per month, optional)
