We have an opening for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing Prairies & Territories regional marketing team. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, this position touches all Business Lines across the Prairies & Territories and includes connections to our regional Shared Services and Public Relations teams. Stantec offers a flexible work environment and we are open for this role to be based out of any posted Prairies & Territories office location.

Your Key Responsibilities

Write and edit profiles for Stantec\'s internal information management system, such as personnel resumes, project profiles, boilerplate content for proposals, and promotional activity tracking.

Assist with general Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) development, subconsultant packages, and provide proposal support as needed.

Work with technical partners to help maintain accurate information within Stantec\'s internal business development system (Pipeline).

Maintain Stantec\'s internal systems for information management related to opportunity/lead tracking, people, member profiles, projects, and promotional activityCommunicate/collaborate with other Prairies & Territories regional marketing teams to find efficiencies and discuss lessons learned.

When required, assist pursuit teams across the region with tracking and digital submissions on certain procurement websites

Collaborate with the regional marketing team to help support system administration platforms (SMKC, Pipeline) and other general team support.

Assist our region\'s Brand & Promotions team and PR lead by supporting and contributing to Stantec\'s internal and external communications networks; by helping update the tradeshow app; and by supporting our Promotions Specialist, other team members, and local BC content administrators with the planning and implementation of tradeshows and conferences, and other special events as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Post-secondary degree in administration, business, marketing, communications, or an equivalent level of experience

2 to 5 years in an office environment providing administrative support to professionals

Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting industry is preferred.

Proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Edge is required. Experience using Microsoft Teams is a plus.

Working knowledge in the use of the desktop publishing software Adobe InDesign is a plus.

Experience utilizing procurement websites like Ariba, BidNet, BidSync, Bonfire, GovWin, etc. is preferred.
