Job Description

Position: Marketing Assistant

Location: Calgary Corporate Office

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing team to support marketing strategies and executions. Key responsibilities include assisting with marketing research, event planning and execution, managing marketing administration tasks, and contributing to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Manager, Marketing; Content Marketing Specialist; Manager, Sales; and members of the Sales Team to achieve sales goals and objectives set out by the company. Provide professional and timely responses to requests for information from stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to deliver quality and on-time/budget deliverables including but not limited to marketing collateral and creative executions. Execute database marketing and email ad campaigns for various events and marketing efforts across multiple platforms. Assist the Marketing Content Specialist in creating engaging content including but not limited to social media scheduling, drafting blogs posts, and email communication, following the appropriate timeline to reach the right audience. Assist in compiling market, demographic, competitor research, show home traffic reports, and marketing presentations. Organize and track marketing activities and outcomes. Support in the planning and execution of various projects as required including event-based marketing and community engagement initiatives. Organize and manage marketing files, keeping collateral up to date and accessible to stakeholders. Assist with community and corporate relations activities, programs, and engagement efforts in alignment with strategic communication and marketing goals. Represent Baywest Homes and Section23 Developments as an exemplary brand ambassador and ensure to stay cross-trained ready to provide coverage as needed.
Qualifications:

At least 1 year experience in a related marketing position. A diploma or other post-secondary qualification in marketing or communications is preferred. Enthusiastic about sales and marketing and possesses a creative mindset. Valid driver's license required, along with a willingness to provide a driver's abstract. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a dependable team player. Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
