Job Title: Marketing and Social Media Associate
Work Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday
Wage: $19.75 / hour
Anticipated Start Date: 2023/07/03
Location: Town of the Blue Mountains, ON

We are looking for a Marketing and Social Media Manager

The Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Create and prepare programs and promotional activities for our various businesses in the tourism sector.
• Draft various media communications (press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, etc).
• Create and prepare promotional material and publicize events to meet client requirements and company objectives in line with social media and other marketing efforts.
• Updating weekly and monthly calendars for external and internal communications.
• Ensuring all internal and external file templates align with our branding.
• On-site venue promotions.
• Run company social media paid advertising campaigns
• Create and post content for all social media platforms
• Create high-quality written and visual content for each social media campaign (Using Canva or other graphics programs)
• Build a social media presence by maintaining an engaging online presence
• Responding to comments and engaging with followers on each of our accounts.
• Overseeing customer service provided via social media.

Analyse and present data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives. * Create and manage email marketing campaigns (using platforms like Mailerlite)

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or successful completion of a university degree or college diploma in business administration or in a related field with a specialization in sales or marketing
• Several years of experience as a sales, marketing or public relations representative or in a related occupation
• Experience using social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Twitter -Experience with basic graphic design and formatting.
