We are seeking a creative and collaborative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support the execution of daily marketing operations, company event coordination, and internal marketing initiatives. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing compelling marketing content, managing social media channels, and supporting the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with some graphic design capabilities, comfortable using AI tools for content creation, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Content Creation
Develop and execute engaging marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
Create visually appealing content for social media, websites, and email campaigns using design tools and AI platforms
Manage all social media channels, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance analytics
Write and edit marketing copy for blogs, newsletters, advertisements, and promotional materials
Track basic marketing metrics using Google Analytics and CRM dashboards; compile monthly reports for management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency
Event Coordination:
Plan and execute webinars, seminars, conferences, and other company events
Track event metrics and prepare post-event reports
Coordinate with speakers, vendors, and venues to ensure seamless event experiences
Manage event logistics including setup, registration, and post-event follow-up
Create promotional materials and digital campaigns to drive event attendance
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Post Graduate Diploma, or Masters in Marketing is a plus.
3+ years of experience in marketing and social media management
Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role
Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva etc.) and AI content creation platforms
Proficiency in WordPress; familiarity with HTML .
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and editing skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Experience managing social media platforms and analyzing performance metrics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail in design and execution.
Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required to support events.
Preferred:
Experience with marketing platforms (e.g Mailchimp, Zoho, SEMrush)
Experience in video content creation and video editing for short reels is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization
Familiarity with event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
Other Requirements:
Legal*: Must have legal authorization to work in Canada. Travel*: Occasional travel within Ontario for client meetings, trade shows, or events may be required.
