Brain Injury Association Waterloo- Wellington (BIAWW) Marketing and Administrative Coordinator -

The Brain Injury Association Waterloo-Wellington (BIAWW) is searching for a Marketing and Administrative Coordinator to join our team starting January 2026. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position reporting to the Executive Director. Training will be provided on-the-job. Position: Marketing and Administration Coordinator Primary Function: To provide overall marketing and administration support for the Brain Injury Association Waterloo Wellington.

Primary Duties:



Programming Support:



Support other members of the BIAWW team with administrative tasks such as scheduling, facilities arrangements, registration, special events, communications, and reporting.

Develop and implement marketing materials and social media to support the Brain Emporium social enterprise, Intimate Partner Violence-Brain Injury (IPV-BI) program, Brain Connect program and other activities at BIAWW.

Fundraising



Support to co-manage the fall virtual auction fundraising event, including sourcing items, promoting the event, tracking winners and distributing prizes.

Administration Support

Monitors organization email account, maintains email system (Mailchimp) with current subscriber info. Schedules and populates weekly and monthly emails to all subscribers. Create, post and schedule content to BIAWW social media accounts including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Maintain organization websites (Weebly, Shopify and GoDaddy platforms) to ensure information is up to date and easily accessed.

Support Executive Director

To increase our profile in the Waterloo and Wellington communities.

Help identify, research, plan and implement special projects, events, programs and tasks. o Liaise with community groups, sponsors and donors.

Qualifications: o Strong technical skills to support suite of technologies used o E.g. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Weebly, Shopify, Godaddy, Eventbrite, Canada Helps, MailChimp, 32Auction, Zoom, MS Office, Canva, MSOffice and Gmail suites, Survey monkey, Doodle, Dropbox. o Strong written/verbal communication skills and organizational skills. o Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings.

Use of personal transportation needed at times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
