Job Description

We are looking for a Market Team Member to join our new Surrey store and help customers find what they are looking for while shopping in the store. Market Team Members will act as the first point of contact at this store by providing shoppers with information about products offered in the store.



A Market Team Member's responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, organizing food displays, and stocking shelves with products for customers to buy. They will also deliver a high level of customer service to shoppers.



Ultimately, you will work directly with customers and complete various tasks around the store to keep the shopping area clean and organized throughout the day.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve to assist with purchasing decisions Ensure the store is clean, safe and ready for shoppers Process cash register payments by cash, credit card, gift card, and debit Wrap and place merchandise in bags / carts Balance and reconcile cash at end of work shift Maintaining and building various store displays Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products; stock, cull, and replenish produce and other related products to shelves Rotation, loading and unloading of all store products Stock and replace products to avoid any damages Backroom and inventory management Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven customer service or retail experience is a plus Great attention to detail Good communication and people skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time Able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
