Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, we are a short line railway offering complete logistic and transportation solutions.

We are currently looking for a Mark 4 Tamper Operator based to join our team in Saint John.

Responsibilities:

• Safe & efficient operation of machine/equipment
• Perform field maintenance and maintain machine to NBSR standards
• Work independently with a high commitment to safe work practices
• Must perform Track Maintainer/Operator duties (as required) when not operating or maintaining the tamper
• Must be flexible to work nights/weekends and in various locations as required (i.e. Travel outside of your primary work location)
• Flexibility to train on more than one piece of equipment if required
• Flexibility to work in maintenance shop through Winter if required

Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills

• Previous experience operating production tampers is an asset
• Previous experience as an Equipment Operator is an asset
• Ability to read and interpret curve and track charts
• Valid CROR \xe2\x80\x9cD\xe2\x80\x9d Card
• Must be mechanically inclined
