We are currently looking for

a relief Able Seaman

His responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Executing tasks assigned by the Master of his delegate Steering and lookout Keeping areas assigned to their charge clean Attending mooring and anchoring stations Rigging accommodation ladders, gangways, and pilot ladder Taking stores Operating deck equipment Securing equipment on the weather decks or other spaces and storerooms Understanding and implementing the Safety Management System

Required Skills:

At least 2 years' experience in rank and on similar type of vessel Ability to solve problems based on experience and education Teamwork Experience with cable handling an asset

Required Certificates:

Transport Canada COC - Bridge Watch Rating STCW Basic Safety Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats Other Than Fast Rescue Boats Basic First Aid Seaman's book Valid marine medical Security Duties
Interested and available for national and international travel. A valid passport is required.
