Job Description

The Manufacturing technician at GN Corporations Inc. is responsible for supporting Manufacturing specialist group with activities NPI and production.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

As part of the Manufacturing Specialist group, the Manufacturing technician will interact with a variety of different departments. GN's Manufacturing technician job description includes the following:

1) New Product Introduction (NPI)

Creation of folders and Item master for new products. Performing Time studies during NPI runs. Managing and documenting changes happening during the NPI runs Assist the Manufacturing specialists by creating and managing documentation during pre and post-production launches.

2) Production:

Managing and documenting changes happening during the production runs Performing Time studies for production parts. Support with Low and Medium priority Andon requests and Alternate process/ Material requests.

3) Documentation:

Support creation and updating of Manufacturing process documents.

4) Continuous Improvement:

Assist Manufacturing Specialists in data collection and implementation of continuous improvement projects.

5) All other tasks and duties as assigned by the Manufacturing specialist manager.

Occupational Health and Safety

- Understanding and applying the GN Corporations Inc. Health and Safety policy as well as being responsible for his/her own health and safety at work, to avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of others through any act or omission.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical diploma or relevant education in related fields. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with Microsoft office tools. Experience performing time study in a manufacturing facility.
