We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technical Operator to join our fast-growing food production team. In this role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment in a high-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will help ensure consistent product quality, reduce downtime, perform routine maintenance, and actively support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.

Responsibilities
Perform equipment setup, calibration, and changeovers to meet production requirements.
Carry out basic maintenance and preventive tasks to minimize unplanned downtime.
Troubleshoot machinery issues, perform minor mechanical adjustments or repairs, and escalate major problems to the maintenance team.
Operate and monitor automated or semi-automated production machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Complete pre-operation inspections to confirm equipment readiness and functionality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and improving product quality.
Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure all products meet established specifications.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to sustain machine performance and ensure workplace safety.
Accurately complete production logs, downtime reports, and related documentation on time.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve complex equipment issues.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and assist with implementing corrective actions for recurring issues.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies.
Participate in health and safety meetings, audits, and required training sessions.
Engage in daily shift handovers and team briefings to communicate operational updates or concerns.
Train and mentor new or existing team members on equipment operation and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Technical or vocational training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical manuals and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials as required.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, including 5S and Kaizen, is considered an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and a solid commitment to maintaining high product quality.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime when needed.
