Invinity\'s flow batteries store energy in a water-based electrolyte using vanadium, a widely available element proven in energy storage for decades. Invinity has commercial projects in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, with significant operations in Vancouver, BC and Bathgate, Scotland and offices in London and San Francisco.



The Manufacturing Team Leader supports and developes the team and the processes to improve operational and assembly efficiency, implement lean principles and best practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct supervision and regular one-on-one meetings with team members.
  • Resolve or escalate issues that are preventing the assembly team from meeting their objectives such as part availability, quality, etc.
  • Lead and facilitate discussions within team and across functional groups.
  • Conduct team safety meetings and support workplace safety.
  • Monitor assembly production schedule and align priorities.
  • Manage capacity and determine resource allocation requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to develop standardized processes and consistent throughput results.
  • Provide electrical/mechanical manufacturing assembly expertise.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams and other instructions to complete electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience installing, mounting, fastening, aligning and adjusting parts, components, and wiring using hand and small power tools.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
