A Snapshot of Your Day

You are the liaison between your team and upper management. Your main focus is motivating, mentoring, and managing your team. As a people manager, you ensure that your team has all the tools needed to succeed in any task during a shift.

You provide direction and leadership to the team and have a hands-on approach to health & safety, productivity, yields, equipment operation, training, quality, and continuous improvement within your department.

With more than 100,000 products installed worldwide, your efforts will ensure a highly motivated work environment and the highest quality and reliability of products for our customers.

How You\'ll Make an Impact

• Take initiative and exercise timely and good judgment in the day-to-day business decisions and activities.
• Drive key performance indicators for the area of responsibility (i.e., line speeds, efficiency, waste, labor costs, compliance to schedule, etc.).
• Keep updated on performance measurements and apply corrective actions where necessary.
• Work in partnership with the Maintenance department to assist in the prevention/rectification of breakdowns.
• Document and maintain accurate records with respect to employee performance, product quality, daily reconciliation, health and safety, and payroll.
• Involvement in safety audits, identification of hazards and corrections, and other preventative approaches.
• Execute accident investigations in a timely and accurate fashion and carry out any follow-up required as a result of the investigation.

What You Bring

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Adept at the ability to motivate others in a deadline-focused environment
• Ability to evaluate and dive deep into data to provide thought-provoking, workable business solutions
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
• Mindset and vision to lead change management initiatives
• Minimum five years of experience within a manufacturing environment; minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
