We are currently seeking a

Manufacturing Production Planner & Scheduler

who is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production plans across SMT, Assembly, Pack & Ship, and related work centers. This role ensures customer demand is met on time and in full by balancing available labor, materials, and machine capacity. The planner will utilize Syspro ERP, Jira, and supporting systems to create and release work orders, link sales orders, manage material flow, and maintain accurate production visibility. The role also drives improvements in workflow efficiency, kanban processes, and transaction management through Lean Manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities



ERP, Workflow & Work Order Management



Create, release, and manage work orders in Syspro for all work centers. Link sales orders, jobs, and serial numbers across Syspro, Jira, and related databases. Track work-in-progress (WIP), monitor queues, and resolve system discrepancies.

Production Planning & Scheduling



Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules. Allocate labor hours and system transactions to meet delivery requirements. Sequence jobs to optimize throughput, minimize downtime, and manage queues.

Capacity & Resource Management



Monitor labor and equipment capacity; adjust schedules accordingly. Forecast short- and medium-term labor requirements. Plan and track overtime requirements accurately.

Kanban, Inventory & Flow Control



Establish and maintain kanban stock levels for components and finished goods. Monitor and adjust kanban signals for timely replenishment. Apply Lean Manufacturing methods to improve material flow, reduce waste, and simplify processes.

Collaboration & Communication



Communicate plans, changes, and priorities to production manager, supervisor(s), and/or team lead(s). Align production schedules with supply chain material availability. Provide updates to sales, customer service, and management. Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling in electronics or discrete manufacturing. Hands-on experience with Syspro ERP, Jira, and workflow tools. Knowledge of SMT and Assembly production processes. Familiarity with kanban, Lean Manufacturing, and flow improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis for planning.
