Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to manage and run the Retorts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retorts, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. You must be able to take direction. Work as a team player. You must be able to operate specialized equipment. You must be reliable. Proficiently Read and write English and Math.

Must be okay to work in a hot environment.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns. Adjust controls and settings as needed to meet production specifications. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any issues encountered. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate complex machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with colleagues. Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting is preferred.
