Manufacturing Labourer Lustre Products Ltd. is a local Chilliwack, BC manufacturer and supplier of high-end elevator and escalator parts worldwide. We are currently looking to fill the role of Manufacturing Labourer. If you\xe2\x80\x99d like to work with awesome people in a clean, spacious, and modern manufacturing facility, send us your resume! - 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)\xe2\x80\xa6. 3-day weekends, every weekend!
- 10-hour shifts (7:00am to 5:30pm)

- Have a high degree of mechanical inclination, focusing on accuracy and an eye for quality and detail.
- Have 1-3 years of experience operating hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other manufacturing and production machinery and equipment (considered an asset).
- Be capable of safely lifting up to 50-70 lbs and willing to perform repetitive tasks, including pushing and pulling, while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Handle inventory with care and attention to detail, conduct inspections for defective items per company policy to ensure quality and uniformity, resolve any identified problems, and/or alert supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Have a solid work ethic, be reliable, self-motivated, and effectively manage your pace to meet targets and objectives.
- Communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve well within teams.
- As a safety precaution, fluency in English is a must.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing processes as we take raw materials and create high quality custom finished products and components.
- A variety of practical skills in metalworking, fabricating, machining, welding, finishing, assembly, quality control and packaging guided by skilled and experienced team members.
