Qualifications:
Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking Manufacturing Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager, working out of the Winnipeg office. The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering team where they will provide engineering support for manufacturing build processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Participates on improvement teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implements lean principles and technologies.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a relevant field of Engineering and be registered or eligible to be registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM)
Must have 3+ years of experience in a related engineering or manufacturing environment.
Must be able to support evening or night shift on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Production Planning experience is considered an asset.
Composite/Aerospace manufacturing knowledge is considered an asset.
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years\' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
