Develop performance standards Find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes Analyze costs of production Assess industrial facilities Assess business opportunities and develop strategies Review bids and negotiate costs Resolve product and service related problems Prepare budget and cost estimates Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Apply mathematical techniques to the solution of problems in scientific fields or other fields Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs Troubleshoot problems related to equipment Provide customer service Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
