Job Purpose

The

Manufacturing Engineering team

provides technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production systems. By analyzing current processes, implementing new methods, and introducing innovative technologies, the team continuously drives improvements in manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety.


As a

Manufacturing Engineer Intern

, you will gain hands-on experience working with engineers and plant staff to analyze processes, establish standards, and support projects that directly impact plant performance.


Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:


Working with engineers to provide

technical expertise

on current manufacturing systems, focusing on safety, efficiency, and cost reduction opportunities Analyzing documents and making

recommendations for part or process failures

from both technical and operational perspectives Collecting, developing, and applying data to establish

labor standards, routings, and cost structures

for engineering changes and new product introductions Assisting in projects aimed at

improving manufacturing efficiency, product quality, worker safety, and cost reduction

Supporting the adoption of

new methods and technologies

to enhance manufacturing capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
