At Etalim, we are turning heat into clean, reliable power. Our breakthrough thermo-acoustic technology converts thermal energy into electricity with no moving parts--delivering exceptional reliability and low maintenance. Our first product, 1GEN, reduces methane venting in the oil and gas industry, helping operators cut emissions and meet sustainability goals.

We are now field-testing units across Alberta and British Columbia and scaling pre-production manufacturing--making this a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage and help shape the future of energy.

We are a small, hands-on team where engineering and manufacturing work side-by-side. You are in charge of bringing your ideas to the shop floor quickly, and your work will directly impact products deployed in the field.

What You'll Do

Own and drive the transition from prototype builds to repeatable, scalable pre-production manufacturing Develop, document, and continuously improve assembly, test, and validation processes Create and maintain work instructions, travelers, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation Work hands-on with assembly technicians to troubleshoot build, test, and quality issues Support quality systems including incoming inspection, non-conformance resolution, and root-cause analysis Design, specify, and improve fixtures, tooling, and test setups Support high-pressure system testing and validation (training provided) Identify and implement improvements to safety, quality, cost, and cycle time Collaborate closely with design engineering to provide manufacturability feedback (DFM/DFA)

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar) 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or hands-on industrial environments Comfortable reading mechanical drawings and CAD models Proven experience working on the shop floor with technicians and operators Solid process documentation and change-control discipline Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment Clear communicator who thrives in a small, fast-moving team, and who can balance technical detail with practical execution

Nice to Have

Experience supporting low to mid-volume mechanical production Exposure to high-pressure systems, piping, or compression fittings Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement Knowledge of WHMIS and manufacturing safety practices CAD experience (Onshape or similar)

Salary & Benefits
