Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer will have exclusive operations ownership of all production decisions and work order modifications, including dates, quantities, materials, and status post-creation. This role involves providing actionable insights to leadership on process optimization, routing all non-invoice requests through Operations to eliminate cross-functional friction. The engineer will eliminate waste and bottlenecks by requiring external teams to own rework from premature work order printing and establish world-class metrics tracking disruption, throughput, and delivery performance with real-time executive visibility. Responsibilities

• Leverage data-driven analysis from communication patterns to architect seamless process flows and root-cause resolution.
• Architect manufacturing systems to position Operations as the singular execution authority for maximum efficiency.
• Champion continuous innovation with ISO9001 rigor, Kanban/5S discipline, and cross-team alignment for breakthrough productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.

Work Environment
The role requires on-site presence every day, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is primarily based on the production floor (95% of the time). The company is opening a new plant that is 8 minutes away towards the end of the year. Job Type & Location
