We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Manufacturing Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and CAD design, with a focus on custom fabrications and supporting the production process. Pay Rate: $28 - $32 hourly

Shift Times: Day Shift

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare engineering fabrication packages and process documentation for custom fabrications. Create CAD layouts for formed parts and drawings for plasma/laser cutting. Design fixtures and templates to improve manufacturability. Produce detailed drawings, final specifications, bills of material, and costing. Meet with clients/project managers to establish design briefs and requirements. Collaborate with team members to develop design concepts and calculate material consumption. Investigate manufacturing quality issues and implement corrective actions. Work with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements. Assist in quoting new parts and inspect welds and fabrication quality. Support the weld shop with drawing questions, fit-up issues, and weld procedures. Manage projects from start to finish and contribute to continuous improvement. Occasionally travel to clients' facilities for feasibility evaluations.

What You'll Need to Qualify:

Mechanical/Manufacturing/Welding Engineering Technician/Technologist Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of relevant manufacturing/fabrication experience. Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must (Autocad and Excel are also preferred). Ability to understand manufacturing floor processes, material specifications, and costing. Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Cost-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working accurately in a fast-paced environment. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize workload.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
