Job Description

We are an Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) looking to fill the position of manual machinist, the suitable candidate will be trained in all aspects of the repair and overhaul of all major OEM helicopter components. There is an opportunity to learn all aspects of the processes we perform.

Some Duties include:

- Setup and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour
