Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role offers opportunities to operate various types of heavy equipment and vehicles, contributing to the efficient operation of our logistics and transportation services.

Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles for transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to designated locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery required for freight handling Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting skills is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
