Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, operating heavy machinery, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a professional with a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management to support our operational needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, or materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues. Assist with warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving. Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to commercial transportation. Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks associated with freight handling. Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory. Commitment to safety standards and adherence to company policies at all times.
