About Our Family
We are a Calgary family seeking a patient, fun, and engaging Mandarin tutor for our 9-year-old son who is just beginning his language journey. We want someone who can build strong foundations while keeping lessons enjoyable.
Responsibilities
Teach beginner Mandarin (speaking, listening, reading, and early writing) Create individualized lesson plans Use games, visuals, activities, and real-life conversation practice Build confidence and interest in learning a new language
Schedule (In-Person)
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
(1 hour) Lessons take placein our home
(SW Calgary).Requirements
Fluent Mandarin speaker Prior teaching or tutoring experience Police check (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with children Ability to create fun and engaging beginner lessons Calm, patient, and encouraging teaching style
Compensation
Hourly rate
based on experience
