Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of seniors, and assisting with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and a genuine passion for improving the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Monitor and document patient health status and report any changes to nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing light housekeeping duties. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Assist with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare providers. Support patients with dementia care by using appropriate communication techniques and strategies.

Skills

Experience in assisted living or senior care settings is preferred. Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient care and empathy. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is advantageous. Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in patient environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus. A background in nursing or related fields can enhance your candidacy.
