Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mandarin Assistant Teacher to support classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers in implementing educational programs, supervising students, and ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere. Duties

Support lead teachers in planning and executing daily classroom activities aligned with curriculum standards Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest periods Assist with classroom management to promote positive behavior and social skills Help facilitate learning experiences in areas such as math, literacy, and social-emotional development Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to education Support children's emotional well-being by offering encouragement and guidance

Qualifications

Prior classroom experience or work with children is preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles and developmental milestones Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to foster a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Basic understanding of math concepts suitable for early childhood education Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$25.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
