Main role:

Interpreting Mandarin phone conversations to English and vice versa.

Qualifications

What you will bring:
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree or certification from an accredited program for technical and/or GED/ High school education required.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Previous contact centre experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word & Excel preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent communication/comprehension skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Excellent home internet hardwired \xe2\x80\x93 wifi connections are not permitted.

Responsibilities

What you will do:
  • Provide expert level interpretation service in medical, 911, immigration, legal, financial, and other calls.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relations by offering interpretaion services.
  • Ensure requests are handled appropriately by coordinating with various functions within the company.
  • Schedule service calls and follow up with customers/clients.
  • Exceptional call handling soft skills, must posses the ability to conduct active listening while being empathetic and reassuring the customer.
