Job Overview



We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Managing Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide support and supervision of our legal assistants and assist our lawyers with client relations, correspondence, and and document management. The successful individual will also have the opportunity to engage as an Executive Assistant, working with our Founding Lawyer on business related matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to advance in their career and contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial firm.

Duties



Supervision and human resources management of legal assistants Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings with precision Manage case files through organized filing systems, both electronically and physically Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and tracking case progress Handle administrative tasks including phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and maintaining calendars Prepare reports, summaries, and memos Build precedents and template's

Requirements



5 years or more experience as a family law legal assistant or paralegal in Alberta A proactive approach Excellent organizational and managerial skills Valid driver's license Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Clio Must love dogs Please include in your application a "fun fact" about yourself - we want to know what makes you you*!

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
