Job Overview:



As the Managing Director of one of Canada's most established home health care brands, you will be at the heart of the mission to positively impact the lives of seniors. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader with operational and business development expertise, and a passion for making a meaningful difference. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, leading an office staff of six (6) and a talented front-line team of up to eighty (80). You will also drive growth by expanding our community of seniors who benefit from our care. Your ability to manage people and budgets and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment will be critical to success.

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Excellence:



Oversee and optimize the daily operations of our home health care services to ensure high-quality care and seamless delivery to clients. Implement scalable systems and processes that support the expansion of services and improve operational efficiency (e.g. systems to streamline scheduling, staffing, and client care). Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting, and cost management. Ensure full compliance with provincial health regulations, licensing requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Business Development/Sales & Marketing:



Build strong partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers and community organizations to increase service referrals. Drive marketing and outreach strategies to raise awareness of services and enhance brand. Continue to foster and grow a strong, supportive community of seniors and their families, ensuring they have access to the care and resources they need.

Leadership & Team Development:



Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of professionals to deliver exceptional care, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and aligned with our mission. Manage competing priorities, ensuring that both operational needs and growth-focused outcomes are met effectively. Build a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages continuous learning, feedback, and improvement.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:



Work closely with the VP Health of the Middleton Group to develop and execute long-term growth strategies for the company you are leading. Provide regular reports on performance, growth metrics, and client satisfaction to ensure transparency and accountability.

What We're Looking For:



Experience & Track Record:



Senior leadership experience in home care, healthcare, hospitality or a similar service industry. Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control. Proven experience in sales/business development/partnership development. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing both day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategies. Experience managing and developing teams, with a focus on cultivating a supportive, high-performing culture.

Salary



$92,500 + commission & health benefits
