DoughBox Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta takes the next step in the pizza revolution by getting back to the basics within a quick service environment. Our signature freshly stretched dough, homemade sauces, wide-range of premium ingredient choices, and the flavour of a wood-fired oven will bring you to taste-bud nirvana.

We are currently looking for high energy experienced people who see themselves in a Manager/Supervisor role at our Hamilton Location.

You will participate in multiple different roles. We do not have set roles such as line cook, or cashier. We try and vary people around to be trained on every station in our restaurant, so the opportunity to gain experience is there for multiple different sections that can easily cross over to other careers.

The roles you will participate include but are not limited to

-Scheduling, Ordering/Inventory, Training, Performance Management and Follow Up-Preparation and proper handling of food

-Using DoughBox Systems to efficiently manage Store Operations
-Handling cash and debit transactions
-Providing an Excellent Guest Experience as you prepare the food in our open concept kitchen
-Handling and organizing orders to set up the kitchen for success

As a subset of the roles you will participate in, you will also be responsible for
-The Cleaning and upkeep of both our open design kitchen, as well as our dining room
-The timely preparation of food in accordance with our recipes and standards
-Adhere to our food cost guidelines
-Ensuring the proper care, maintenance and cleaning of our kitchen equipment
-Maintaining, organizing, cleaning as well as proper storiage of all areas of the restaurant
-Able to set clear goals for your day, ensuring you have a task lined up for once you complete your last one
-Finding ways to work efficiently within your section so as to maintain proper service times despite high load periods
-Additional duties and assignments as requested

You need to be comfortable in a fast paced environment where you can communicate strongly and work closely with your fellow team members. We adhere to a fast pace where slow workers stand out.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.20-$20.00 per hour
