How will you make an impact in this role?



Designs, develops, and manages activities for a product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Partner with stakeholder teams on enhancing/refining product strategies and roadmaps. Serves as the central resource with design, process, development, test, quality, and marketing, throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle. Manages the features backlog by identifying and prioritizing features and capabilities through direct input with customers, analysts, developers and architects and knowledge of the domain. Facilitates resolution of risks, issues and changes related to the product development lifecycle. Involvement includes modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.


Key Responsibilities



Acts as a point of contact for internal inquiries. Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology and other adjacent stakeholders to gather and document product requirements. Builds, updates, and improves policies and procedures of products; provides education on these policies and procedures. Owns the creation of a product backlog for a specific product and ensures alignment with the product roadmap. Partners closely with analytics team to understand impact of core critical metrics. Identifies technical problems and facilitates resolution of complex risks, issues, and changes tied to product management initiatives and processes. Manages and coordinates updates on risks, issues, and changes to ensure alignment with adjacent groups. Conducts research to understand driven and internal positioning. Based on research and analyses, develops ideas for product development, improvements, and/or expansions. Shares insights with internal teams for review. Researches the demands, risks, and regulatory environment of the applicable markets to develop products. Crafts materials for senior management, presentations and product governance meetings including boards. Owning key stakeholder relationships across marketing and program management. Partners with Product team to identify the case for new products or modifications to existing products due to business needs. Researches, develops, and delivers analysis for presentations and reports to be delivered internally regarding product dev improvements. Demonstrates knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace, industry, and client needs. Research regulatory developments and analyzes potential implications to existing Products. Conducts financial modeling for current and new products being evaluated. Participates in presentation of analyses.

Skills & Qualifications:



Agile Methodologies Communication Management - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Feature Prioritization Market Analysis Product Development Product Road mapping Product Strategy Requirements Management Structured Problem Solving Bachelors Degree - Minimum of 5-8 years' experience working in a Financial and/or Professional Consulting Services environment. Strong thought leadership and project management skills, ability to lead large complex technical projects in a diverse environment. Ability to interact with multiple business partners to assist/coach to deliver project requirements. Strong analytical skills, including ability to gather and interpret various types of data. Self-motivated, self-directed, self-learner. Knowledge of enterprise standards and procedures and sources of enterprise information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong desire to learn new systems/software applications. Understands design thinking and able to demonstrate ability to break down complex problems. Experience with compliance, privacy, risk, legal and audit procedures. Experience writing Features, User Stories and Tasks in Confluence, and/or Jira, and/or Rally. Business Relationship Management skills to negotiate priorities and clearly define deliverables.
