The newly formed Rogers Business Base Management team is looking for a Manager, Wireless Base Programs that has real-world experience in proven programs designed to enable seamless integrations, changes, and the adoption of new technologies. We are bringing together the best and brightest to ensure we are laser-focused on delivering world-class results in business growth, retention, and customer experience. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the telecommunications industry, specifically looking at the wireless lifecycle and business growth opportunities. Reporting to the Sr manager, base programs, the successful candidate will have expert knowledge of key business indicators, marketing, and communications options as well as proven formulas to adjust and influence customer experience through the platforms and products we enable. They will need to establish profitable ROI targets and be able to influence timing, and investments (people and capital) and measure our programs to these targets.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the successful implementation of policy, process, or program improvements, along with education/coaching programs, incentives, spiff\'s and other tactics
  • Manage churn mitigation through event and lifecycle moments to intervene
  • Manage wireless cross and upsell programs
  • Revenue, product penetration, and churn across the wireless Business Segments
  • Analysis of revenue and churn results and implementation of tactics to improve
  • Monitor & assess life-cycle management activities
  • Input into program design and planning
  • Capture competitive insight and maintain feedback loop to strategy and marketing teams as well as sales force
  • Distinguishing priorities based on corporate priorities, return on investment, and 5-year strategic roadmap and providing a go/ no go decision on behalf of the leadership team for programs and initiatives
  • Negotiate offers/ pricing with Product marketing and Pricing teams that would help grow all segments as well as protect revenue, through competitive analysis & tacta quarterly base
  • Create plans on a quarterly bases with a breakdown on the monthly and weekly levels along with specific gains to be attained from the plan and maintain a status report along with Post Implementation Review
  • Accountable to lead large-scale initiatives/programs throughout all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through to closure.
What you will bring:
  • Post-secondary degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in program/ project management
  • Strong planning, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, decision making and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven ability to deliver through cross-functional teams
  • Extensive knowledge of communication industry i.e. products, services, systems, and tools
  • Can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty and effectively cope with change
  • Ability to develop business plans and provide clear direction on execution
  • Ability to produce and interpret historical data and identify trends
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and proven time management skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate with all levels in the organization from VPs to frontline management
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • PMP certification an asset
