Your Opportunity:The Pharmacy Manager, Northeast Zone is a key leadership role in Clinical Support Services and reports directly to the Director, Pharmacy Services, North Zone. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of the Northeast Zone Pharmacy teams in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The Pharmacy Manager, Northeast Zone will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in order to provide pharmacy leadership across the area including with physicians, patient care area leaders, regional and site support services, and union representatives to ensure that any issues impacting the program are identified and addressed.Description:The Pharmacy Manager, Northeast Zone is also responsible for: Leading and managing pharmacy operations in providing a quality service for the distribution of medications and provision of direct patient care through pharmacists. As a member of the Pharmacy Management Team, the Pharmacy Manager participates in strategic planning for the program and operationalizes approved plans to ensure program delivery is consistent with broader organizational objectives. Resolving complex and challenging problems concerning human resources management in a unionized environment. Ensuring alignment of activity within the provincial Pharmacy Services program.

Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years in a hospital pharmacy role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. 3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a health care environment. Licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacy is required. Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
