OverviewWe are seeking a solutions-focused and forward-thinking individual with experience managing and enhancing digital platforms to join our team as Manager, Web Services. The Experience, Communications, Marketing, and Insights department is looking for a strategic leader with strong relationship building skills to oversee our website and digital platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience through the lens of WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s Stakeholder and Employee Experience Framework.How you\xe2\x80\x99ll make a difference: You\xe2\x80\x99ll build the understanding and trust that helps WorkSafeBC serve people across B.C.Where you\xe2\x80\x99ll workAt WorkSafeBC, we offer a model that combines the convenience of working remotely with the dynamism of working in our offices, based on the operational needs of the position.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work primarily from our Richmond office, with some flexibility to work from your home in B.C.What you\'ll doAs the Manager, Web Services, you will:

  • Oversee and optimize WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s website and digital platforms such as the corporate website, employee intranet, dashboards & analytics, and asset management.
  • Lead the Corporate Internet Services team in enhancing the utility, form, and functionality of our corporate digital channels, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement effective digital engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Communication teams to ensure consistency and timeliness of content, voice and tone, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with I&T DevOps and Experience and Insights teams to ensure platform functionality and usability, reflecting the evolving needs of external and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients across the organization, including for emergency publishing requests.
  • Lead data and analytics initiatives to track and measure the success of web services.
  • Promote WorkSafeBC\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities within and outside of the organization.

Your experience and educational background
  • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in digital media, marketing, and communications, including at least 4 years in a management role.
  • A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree will be an asset.
