The work of our Technology and Data (T&D) Risk team is essential to the organization. We are looking for someone who can lead the delivery of our risk and control assessments for Technology and Cyber Security. The Manager, Technology and Data Risk Management role is part of the Information Security & Risk Management group and reports to the Managing Director, T&D Risk. This position plays a key part in defining the roadmap for the group and enabling decision making to enhance resiliency and operational effectiveness at a holistic level for the Fund.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of the T&D Information Risk Management Framework in line with the CPP Investments\' Integrated Risk Policy
  • Develop and implement Information Risk policies, standards, and guidelines in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders
  • Conduct risk assessments of T&D systems, applications, and processes to identify and manage risks in accordance with established policies, standards and procedures
  • Support the Information Risk governance and oversight function in accordance with the Information Risk Management Framework, including monitoring and reporting on risk mitigation activities and risk acceptances/exceptions
  • Develop an evidence-based reporting function to communicate timely and accurate information risk data to management, in terms of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead and support the cyber and technology projects including managing multiple deliverables simultaneously and dynamically prioritizing in alignment with the changes in technology and business environments
  • Maintain and evolve active partnership with T&D functions, Enterprise Risk and Audit to ensure an alignment of the Information Risk function across technology and risk domains
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required to support the evolving security needs of CPP Investments
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate university degree, preferably in Technology / Data Science / Business / Finance
  • Good knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, COSO, COBIT, etc.
  • Ability to evaluate an organisation\'s technology and business programs and provide an assessment of its ability to identify protect, respond, and recover from cyber and technology risk events
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in cyber and technology risk management at financial institutions, investment companies, or other large industry or public sector companies
  • Project and program management skills
  • Experience in developing and communicating technology strategies and roadmaps to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
  • Proven ability to influence and manage within an indirect reporting structure
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
