A day in the life of a Manager - U.S. Advisory:
Participate with senior-managers, vice-presidents and partners on buy and sell side cross-border transactions.
Assist on cross-border corporate and high-net-worth individual personal tax planning.
Research U.S. tax issues, interpret and apply tax legislation.
Research and interpret international tax treaty.
Review/prepare U.S. corporate, partnership, trust, individual federal and state tax returns.
Participate in regular training session with all team's member and provide junior team members with training session.
What we are looking for:
Approximately 3 - 6 years of relevant experience either in tax advisory and or tax compliance
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
Ability to manage several projects at the same time and tight deadlines
Intellectual curiosity and creativity
Flexibility and availability
Good judgment
Open-mindedness applied to continuous learning
Strong team spirit and ability to work with others
Strong sense of client service and professionalism
Master in Tax designation
US CPA and or Canadian CPA designation
EA designation.
