  • Design and execute strategies and processes to ensure effective delivery and implementation of services, initiatives, and programs to support talent development and readiness and succession planning by:
  • Managing and overseeing a multi-year roadmap and delivery of Talent & Organizational Development program
  • Designing and implementing learning pathways and innovative programs that support the embedment of future-focused skills across the talent lifecycle, aligning with organizational goals and supporting talent growth.
  • Integrating talent acquisition and development approaches to create and manage talent pools and lead talent development in service of succession planning and business continuity with consideration for equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Career mapping and role design to support progression and engagement through a comprehensive review of role dimensions and rewards.
  • Define and develop Talent & Organizational Development metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and prepare reports on progress against goals
  • Support a variety of Talent & Organizational Development systems such as Oracle, HCM/HRMS or LXP systems to capture succession readiness, leadership development and talent mobility metrics
  • Research Talent & Organizational Development best practices and evaluate current internal practices and policies to recommend solutions with a data-led and analytical approach to achieve goals and objectives
  • Manage change management initiatives and ensure the successful implementation and delivery of various Talent and Organizational Development initiatives in partnership with Corporate Communications and Marketing through frequent communication plans and campaigns.

  • Leverage best practices, creativity, and innovation in leading the design and successful implementation of talent development and succession planning within a complex, unionized environment.
  • Leverage systems and tools to enhance data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Be agile and resilient and work well under pressure amidst changing priorities.
  • Build teams and manage direct reports and partnerships inside and outside the organization.
Your background and experience
  • An undergraduate degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, or related discipline.
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s in human resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Leadership Development or related discipline considered an asset
  • Experience in designing and implementing Career Pathing and Skills Pathways.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in talent and leadership development or a related field, including:
  • 5 years of progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness in leading talent and leadership development-related initiatives and programs within a complex, unionized/non-unionized organization
