Sobeys has an immediate opening for a Systems Optimization and Support Manager for a 12-month contract.

The Systems Optimization and Support Manager is responsible for the development, optimization and sustainment of key store systems and reports to the Director, Systems Optimization & Support. This role can be based out of our offices in Montreal, QC, Mississauga, ON, Stellarton, NS, Calgary, AB, Winnipeg, MB or Vancouver, BC.

The key accountabilities are to:

  • Act as the functional and technical SME with knowledge of key systems, primarily FIM (Fresh Item Management) and CAO (Computer Assisted Ordering), in all banners
  • Share knowledge with other team members to maximize overall team effectiveness in supporting change and usage of key systems
  • Collaborate with Store Operations Support; backstage teams and the supervision team (MRO's, DO's, VP's) to equip stores with knowledge and capability
  • Support creation of SOPs, design of, technical training, development of technical curriculum
  • Act as an integrator on systems and process training needs
  • Drive continuous improvement of team analytics by ensuring that any system changes that may impact reporting is identified and managed
  • Monitor compliance and performance of all stores/banners/formats and engage with format leads on opportunities
  • Participate and drive engagement within the team
  • Ensure the on-time delivery of usable products to stores
Job Requirements
  • An Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a College Diploma & minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Solid communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to influence positive change
  • Ability to understand and apply company policies and department procedures
  • Expert knowledge of business processes tools such as FIM and CAO
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
