The Manager, Supplier Risk Management leads the execution of the supplier risk management strategies and programs to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks related to third-party suppliers. Key focus areas include integrity, financial stability, operational resilience, sustainability and compliance risks.
As a developing area within Global Procurement, this position offers a valuable opportunity to advance supplier risk management practices through continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will do

  • Manages GP supplier risk review and assessment process, including risk approval and escalation, collaborates with GP sourcing team and business stakeholders to define risk mitigation strategies and manages development of supplier risk scorecards
  • Subject Matter Expert for technology enabled risk management solutions and oversees supplier risk requirements for new supplier information system implementation
  • Oversees governance process aimed at facilitating contract compliance, supports development of relevant risk frameworks or methodologies and supports key global programs from a supplier risk perspective such as the Operational Resilience Program
  • Provides education on GP supplier risk practices to promote buy-in and drive compliance, collaborates with various risk management functions within the KPMG global network and builds collaborative relationships with peers in member firms to share best practices
  • Maintains updated risk documentation such as guidelines and procedures and maintains comprehensive documentation and reporting for informed decision-making
What you bring to the role
  • 7 years of relevant experience in supplier management, procurement, audit, compliance or related roles, preferably in an international team.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with or within a procurement team and sound understanding of procurement processes and principles
  • Comprehensive understanding of risk assessment principles and the risks inherent in thirf-party supplier relationships
  • Experience in change management and conitnous improvement initiatives
