Responsible for leading the definition and implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership, planning and partial execution of HVD (Heart Valve Disease) Market Growth Strategies.
Focus on the strategic growth opportunities and initiatives around HVD within Canada.
Develop strategic initiatives in collaboration with EEMEA strategy team. Build alignments, develop and execute EEMEAC strategic plans in partnership with the regional team.
Play an instrumental role in the design and execution of the annual strategic planning process with specialized depth and breadth of expertise within the organization and across Business Units.
Develop and plan the implementation of in-depth reviews, similar to management consulting engagements, of key business issues.
Lead the design and delivery of key strategic initiatives identified by the Executive Leadership Team and provide recommendations for decision-making that affect small sub-function, area(s), and/or team(s).
Develop presentations and tools to facilitate communication of findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
Collaborate across functions, regions (EEMEAC and across Canada), and BUs to deliver an actionable strategic plan.
Other incidental duties (e.g. Foster effective internal relationships within the regional and headquarters organizations).
Education and Experience:
At least 8 years Commercial and Marketing experience with skills and experience in analytics.
At least 5 years of direct experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales required.
Candidates with MBA title and initial experience in commercial and/or marketing and/or consulting roles may be qualified with 2-3 years of work experience.
